Subscribe to be notified of changes to SharePoint team Web site content
The Subscription feature enables you to be notified by e-mail of
any changes made to the content of your team Web site. When you subscribe to a
list,
document library,
discussion board,
or survey, the Web server notifies you on a
scheduled basis if an item is modified or deleted or if a new item
is added to the component you subscribed to.
You can cancel your
subscriptions at any time.
- On
a page that displays a list, document
library, discussion board, or
survey, click Subscribe.
- In
the Subscribe
to box, click the content you're interested in.
- In the Notify me when box, click the conditions under which you
want to be notified of changes.
- In the E-mail address box, type your e-mail address.
- In the Time box, click how often you want to be notified of
changes.
Note If you use the Web
Discussions toolbar in Microsoft Internet Explorer to subscribe to the same
page, you may receive two notifications when a list, document library,
discussion board, or survey changes.
