Change the name or description of a list, document library, discussion
board, or survey
- On the page that displays the list, document
library, discussion
board, or survey, click Modify settings and columns.
Note If the page displays a survey, click Modify
survey and questions.
- Under General Settings, click Change general settings.

Type
the new information you want in
the Name and Description boxes.

At the bottom of the page, click OK.
